Laurie Napoleone is the instructor in Batavia of the Health Careers Academy. Her Facebook quote: “I was beautifully surprised by the love and generosity of my Health Careers Academy class. Kevin Muckle organizes a yearly golf tournament in honor of his daughter Madison, a cancer survivor. The proceeds of the tournament go to organizations and families fighting cancer. 2019’s recipient was the Michael Napoleone Memorial Foundation. The leaders of the Madisonation golf tournament present a check for $9,115 to the Foundation.

Thank you to Nate and Andrea Hugill, owners of M.O.M.’s (Maxwell’s on Main) in Doylestown, PA for once again opening their hearts and restaurant, and sharing their time and talent, to help families dealing with a pediatric cancer diagnosis. This year’s Beers for a Cure was another success and brings the total raised over the past 9 years to just shy of $60,000! Thank you to all of the breweries that donated and volunteered their time! Thank you OwowCow for joining us once again and donating their delicious ice cream! Thank you Minuteman Press in Doylestown for your advertising donation. The raffle was another huge hit this year! Thank you to everyone that donated! Monkeys Uncle, Mercury Tattoo, The Doylestown Bookshop, Finneys Pub, and many others for beer baskets, wine and gift cards! A special thank you to Stockertown Beverage for your very generous donation to the Michael Napoleone Memorial Foundation.
From Andrea Hugill: “Each year the Foundation travels here and helps local families battling a pediatric cancer diagnosis. This year they were able to “lend a hand for hope” to THREE local families. We were honored to meet some of the families and have them share their journey with us. We are and will continue to keep them all in our thoughts and prayers….thank you so much to the Michael Napoleone Memorial Foundation for doing such amazing work and helping so many families through such a difficult time.”
